Stewardship at Holy Name

Welcome to our Parish Stewardship Page!

Here we will showcase parishioners sharing their time, talent and treasure throughout our community. We will also build the page more as our ministry grows. Remember the three tenets of Stewardship are: Time, Talent and Treasure. Come and grow with us in service to Our Lord and one another!

For the month of July: Holy Name Loaves & Fishes team!

Holy Name parishioners continue to serve our homeless and less fortunate in the community on the Fourth Wednesday of every month beginning at 9am in the parish center. The Loaves & Fishes program began with some of these very folks and Fr. Charlie Strobel serving peanut butter and jelly sandwiches in the 1980's. One of those members, Anniece Tisdale, now serves as the coordinator for the group and Catholic Charities of TN manages the overall program on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays every week. For more information about volunteering with our team contact the parish office at 615-254-8847.

CCD Teachers are needed for 2019/2020 School Year. We are looking for volunteers to teach CCD next year, at this time, so we can train and prepare for the upcoming year.

Please contact Mary Evans via email or by phone at 615-554-7131 to find out how to be part of this important ministry.  We would like to have all of the teachers identified and classes assigned by June and are in the process of planning a teacher workshop in August prior to the start of classes.
